Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the Hoover Savvy vacuum cleaner. Turn the vacuum upside down on a stable surface.

    • 2

Remove the screws holding the bottom plate and agitator in place. The agitator is the roller brush on the bottom of the appliance.

    • 3

Slide the agitator brush out of place. Note how the brush is in position so that you can easily replace it once the new belt is on.

    • 4

Pull the old belt off of the agitator. It should then simply fall off of the drive shaft.

    • 5

Remove the opposite side cover that is above the height adjustment knob. Use a screwdriver to remove the five screws.

    • 6

Feed the new belt through the noticeable gap and around the agitator brush. You will now see a loop. Put the agitator through this loop.

    • 7

Check to make sure the new belt is sitting on the grooves of the agitator brush. Put the agitator back into position and screw everything back into place.
