How to Install the Game CD for Alien Vs. Predator 2
Aliens versus Predator 2 is a PC and Macintosh science fiction video game by Monolith Productions released in 2001. AvP 2 is a first-person shooter game. It is the direct sequel to the 1999 release, Aliens versus Predator. It is based on the Alien and Predator movie characters and its crossover titles. Fox Interactive released both titles.

Place Aliens versus Predator disc one into your PC CD/DVD-rom drive.

The AVP 2 dialog setup box will appear. In the "Welcome to Installshield wizard for Aliens vs. Predator 2" dialog, press the "Next" button.

The license agreement box will appear. Read the agreement and click the "Yes" button.

The "Choose destination location and select folder" dialog box will appear. If you want the game to install in the default destination folder, click the "Next" button. If not, choose a new destination, and click "Next."

When the prompt asking for the second disc, eject the first disc and replace it with the second game disc in the CD/DVD drive.

Wait for the game to complete installation; it will automatically place an Alien versus Predator icon on your computer desktop. You will click this to begin the game.

Tips & Warnings
To play Aliens versus Predator 2 on your PC, you must have game disc one inserted in the CD/DVD computer drive. If you feel this is a hassle, you can bypass this by downloading a no-game CD patch from sites such as GameCopyWorld, and replacing the game's executable with the executable found in the patch. Also, if the setup does not automatically start upon inserting the AvP 2 disc into your disc drive, click and open your CD drive and click the "install Aliens versus Predator 2" icon and follow the regular setup process.
