Things You'll Need:
- Decorative plates
- Glasses
- Glass adhesive

Step 1
Choose three decorative glass plates to serve as tiers of the cupcake stand. Look for different sizes of plates to create a stable stand for your cupcakes and create a visually appealing presentation.

Find two narrow mouthed glassware pieces approximately four to six inches tall. A few types of glassware that work well include cordial glasses, shot glasses, short tumblers and pilsner glasses.

Place the largest glass plate on your work surface and center one piece of glassware upside down in the center of the plate. There should be enough room on the plate to place cupcakes around the piece of glassware.

Apply glass adhesive to the mouth of the glass and press it firmly onto the center of the plate. Allow the adhesive to dry completely before you continue building the cupcake stand.

Spread adhesive onto the exposed bottom of the glass you just glued to the largest plate. Gently place the second largest plate onto the adhesive, centering the plate on the glass. Let the adhesive dry completely.

Step 6
Continue this process using the remaining glass and the smallest plate, allowing each piece to dry before adhering the next piece. The smallest plate will serve as the top tier of the cupcake stand and can be used to hold additional cupcakes, a small cake, fresh flowers or other decorations to enhance the appearance of your glass cupcake stand.
