Tips & Warnings
You can outline your dry painted designs with a permanent marker before you apply the varnish to make the designs pop and enhance the visual appeal of the pie tin.
Do not bake food directly in a painted pie tin. The paint could react to the high temperatures of the oven and cause harmful fumes. Instead, transfer baked goods to the painted tin after they have cooled for a pretty presentation. Painted pie tins are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash the tin to avoid damaging your paint job.
