How to Send Ringtones to US Cellular

Ringtones are sound files used on a cell phone to alert you of a call. They come in a variety of styles and tones and are installed by default on cell phones. You can, however, download and upload custom ring tones from free ringtone websites. Whether its rock, classical or hiphop, you can send your favorite ringtones to your cell phone and make your calls a little more interesting.

Instructions

1. Go to free ringtone websites such as mytinyphone.com, phonezoo.com. There are many you can use, depending on the ringtones you are looking for.

2. Search for the ringtone you want. You can search by music, artist genre and more. Click the ringtone you want to send to your player once you have found it. Click the "Preview" button the playback.

3. Select your phone service carrier. Most of these websites support the major cell phone carriers.

4. Type in your phone number and click "Send to Phone." A text message containing the ringtone attachment is sent to your phone.

5. Launch the "sms inbox" on your phone and open the text message containing the ringtone. Click the attachment. The ringtone is downloaded automatically on your phone.
