How to Change a Theme in Gmail

Google Gmail has a new feature called Themes. Themes allow you to take the original look and feel of Gmail and transform it by applying a different set of colors or a specific theme such as waterfalls, the moon, sun and rocks. Choose the theme that suits your style.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser of choice and go to Gmail.com.

2. Sign in to Gmail with your Google account by entering your login and password.

3. Click "Settings" in the top right-hand corner of your computer screen. Gmail displays the Settings page where you can make global changes to your email configuration.

4. Click "Themes." You have more than 30 themes to choose from.

5. Click on the theme you want to apply, and the new theme replaces your default theme.
