1
Place a floor screen in front of a desk or workspace to hide magazines, crafts or other projects. Purchase a floor screen that is tall enough so guests in your house can't see over the screen. Place a few plants and accessories in front of the screen to spice up the space.
-
2
Use a three-panel floor screen as a headboard for your bed. Purchase two nightstands or round tables and some lamps that match the floor screen to complete the look.

3
Use a three-panel floor screen behind a long sofa or couch to give some space between the wall and the furniture. Try placing the floor screen in the middle then on each end of the sofa or couch to see which placement works in your space.

4
Purchase a floor screen that has slots for photos and place it in a unused corner of your bedroom or living room. This is ideal if you don't have a lot of furniture, you want to display photos without hanging them on your walls or you want to change out the photos for each season or holiday.

5
Set up a small floor screen to cover an eyesore like a non-working fireplace or a damaged heating/air conditioning return vent. Place a plant or tabletop fountain in front of the screen to decorate the space.

6
Create three living zones in a large or over-sized room by placing one or more floor screens in the space to divide the room up. One area could be for sitting, having a couch or chairs, another could have a bed or large sofa and television and a third area could have a desk and computer or be used as a dressing area.

7
Use a floor screen behind a small occasional chair. Decorate the space around the chair and screen with some pillows, urns and a small table to the side of the chair. Add a lamp to the table to light the space.

Tips & Warnings
When shopping for floor screens at retail outlets and superstores, look for close-out deals. If you find a floor screen that is inexpensive but the wrong color, paint the screen with some high-quality paint. Make sure you use a paint designed for the material out of which the screen is made.
