A Doberman Pinscher is a medium-sized domestic dog that is muscular and intelligent. Dobermans are intense and energetic and very easy to train. Having your Doberman Pinscher is most likely a love-hate relationship if his hair is all over your clothing and towels. A few simple tricks will help you get your Doberman's hair, or any dog's hair, out of your towels.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

    Removing dog hair from towels

  1. Step 1

Brush your dog with a dog brush regularly. Brush your dog outside so that the hair will not be all over the house. Keeping the fur clear will help to keep it off your towels when the dog sheds. Dobermans are known to be average shedders.

  2. Step 2

Wash your towels in the washer on a hot water setting with detergent. The hot water will kill bacteria and allow the hair to start to separate from the towels. You can also perform this step with clothing. Check your clothing labels to see what temperature is safe for washing them.

  3. Step 3

Move the towels to the dryer. Set the dryer to a no-heat setting. This may also be labeled as an air-fluff setting. Run this cycle for 10 minutes. During this cycle, the hair is shaken out of the towels.

  4. Step 4

Use the regular dryer cycle to dry the towels and remove the hair.

  5. Step 5

Clean the lint trap in your dryer regularly to prevent any fires.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add a dryer ball or two to the dryer cycles to help shake the hair loose and lower drying time.
