1
Open up any windows or doors you have in the area. Because you are using bleach it is best to have a well-ventilated area. Use cleaning gloves and long-sleeved clothing to protect your skin from the bleach.
-
2
Dip a rag into bleach and work the bleach over the mold on the dry wall. Scrub the rag thoroughly over the mold. The bleach is going to remove most, if not all of the mold and kill any dormant mold spores that haven't appeared yet.

3
Take some hard grit sandpaper and rub it over the moldy areas. The sandpaper is going to remove the mold. Make sure not to press down too hard on the sandpaper, otherwise you may remove large chunks of drywall.
-
4
Rub down the area again with the bleach. The bleach is going to kill off any other mold spores you may have exposed by removing the top layer of spores and drywall.
-
5
Clean the area with a rag dipped in water. This is going to remove any excess bleach on the wall and flecks of kicked-up drywall.
