- Can of beer
- A key

Step 1
The idea behind shotgunning a can of beer is that you are able to drink it much faster due to the hole you punch into the can. Once you open the can, oxygen can flow through the punctured can and allow for a much quicker pour into your mouth. This is the same thing as a beer funnel, but without all the extra equipment.

Step 2
Take a metal key and, while holding the can horizontally, swiftly punch a hole towards the bottom part of the can. Make sure to bend back any jagged aluminum with your fingers so that you don't cut your mouth. This is the hole you will be drinking the beer from, it doesn't need to be very big, try to make it about the size of a dime.

Step 3
You are now holding a cold can of beer horizontally with a small puncture towards the bottom of the can. Put your mouth up to the hole and tilt your head back at the same time you pull the tab on the top of the beer can.

Step 4
After you pull open the tab on top, all the beer in the can will rush through the punctured hole into your mouth. Be ready to swallow the entire can of beer in a matter of seconds.

Congratulations! You just shotgunned a can of beer.
