Grill Cajun Shrimp

I love shrimp and grilled shrimp are the best. This is a simple grilling recipe that you can try. Let me know with the "I Did This", if you try this grilled cajun shrimp recipe.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Gather
2 pounds large shrimp (16 to 20 per pound), peeled and devained

    For Cajun Spice Shrimp Mix

    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
    1 teaspoon drive thyme
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    2 teaspoons paprika
    1/4 cup olive oil
    4 chopped garlic cloves
    Juice from 1 lemon

  2. Step 2

Light a charcoal fire in a grill. Better to use too many coals than not enough.

  3. Step 3

Use skewers to thread each shrimp through the shrimp's head and tail, so the shrimp will lay flat on the grill.

  4. Step 4

Combine and mix the ingredients for the Cajun Spice Shrimp Mix in a bowl.

  5. Step 5

Spread the mix evenly over the shrimp, being sure to rub the spices and liquid into the shrimp.

  6. Step 6

Let the seasoned shrimp sit at room temperature until the coals are ready for grilling.

  7. Step 7

Place the skewers on the cooking rack, when the coals are hot and grill for 3 minutes on each side or until the Cajun grilled shrimp are evenly pink.

  8. Step 8

    Eat and enjoy!!!!
