What could be better than the flavors of apple, cinnamon and cream cheese? Mix together apple pie filling, cinnamon and cream cheese for a deliciously easy recipe for an awesome treat! It's great on apple cinnamon bagels, apple bread, cinnamon raisin toast and much more.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz. package of cream cheese (or Neufchatel cheese)
  • 1/4 cup canned apple pie filling, such as Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional Ingredients: 1-2 apple pieces from can of apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces and/or raisins
  1. Step 1

    Place 8 oz. of cream cheese (or Neufchatel cheese) into the bowl of a food processor.

  2. Step 2

    Add 1/4 cup apple pie filling to bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon to the bowl, depending upon taste preference.

  4. Step 4

    Process mixture in food processor until smooth, creamy and well blended.

  5. Step 5

    Carefully transfer apple cinnamon cream cheese mixture into an airtight container.

  6. Step 6

    For texture, you may add apple pieces or raisins. If desired, stir 1-2 chopped apple pieces from the canned apple pie filling and/or 1/4 cup chopped raisins into cream cheese mixture.

  7. Step 7

    Spread apple cinnamon cream cheese onto your choice of breads, muffins or bagels. Keep refrigerated
