Things You'll Need:
- Oxygenics Body Spa shower head
- Wire brush or steel wool
- Teflon tape
- Pliers or Vise Grips
-
Step 1
Remove the existing shower head by either unscrewing the existing shower head from the shower arm, or unscrewing the hose from the shower head. Use pliers or Vise Grips to unscrew the hose at the wand fitting.
-
Step 2
Using a wire brush or steel wool, thoroughly clean threaded area of existing shower arm. Most RV's won't have a pipe sticking out of the wall. Some older and vintage models do but newer RV's won't have this. In this case, just clean the hose fitting threads thoroughly.
-
Step 3
Flush out shower pipe for 5 to 10 seconds.
-
Step 4
Wrap Teflon tape clockwise 3 turns around threaded end of shower arm. If your RV doesn't have a shower arm, wrap the Teflon tape around the threads at the end of the new shower head.
-
Step 5
Insert handheld shower fixture into handheld holder. That's it. You're done. The new shower head is designed to use less water and increase the pressure. It IS pure magic!
