Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1
    Cut in half.
     
    Cut in half.

    Cut a piece of computer paper in half with a pair of sharp scissors.
    Make several pieces if using for a rack of lamb or a crown roast.

  2. Step 2
    Fold in half.

    Fold each piece of the paper in half lengthwise.

  3. Step 3
    Keep the cuts equal.

    Make a guide line by folding the paper one inch up from the open side.
    Cut equal spaced strips from the folded side down to the guide line.
    leave at least 3/4 inch at each end for fastening together later.

  4. Step 4
    Hold tight.

    Open the frilled paper and fold back in the opposite direction, this will give more fullness to the frills.
    Roll the frill around a finger until fully rolled.
    Use a wooden dowel if it makes it easier.
    Glue, staple or use tape to secure the ends.

  5. Step 5

    Open and fold back slightly each frill.
    Place each paper cutlet frill on a turkey leg.

Tips & Warnings
  • Can also be used for lamb and pork cutlets.
  • Two pieces can be cut together at step 3. Put one on top of the other.
