Make the pillowcase match whatever you would like in the room. Be as creative as you can........Kids love these for their room. I have put there names on in japanese before, they loved it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First, lay the fabric out on a hard surface. Be sure that you iron the fabric. Washing the fabric is necessary for some.

  2. Step 2

Second, measure out two sections that are 20 1/2" x 30 1/2". Then put the two pieces of material together with the right sides facing each other.

  3. Step 3

Third, sew a 1/4" seam along three sides of the material. Leaving open the area that you would like to insert the pillow.

  4. Step 4

Fourth, sew a 1/2" seam around the fourth side to create a hem and prevent fraying. Turn the pillowcase right side out and iron.

  5. Step 5

You could do the majority of the pillow case in one type of fabric and the last few inches in a coordinating fabric. You could also add lace in that seam or some other decorative item.
