Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • time
  • a plan
  • a little money
  1. Step 1

Get a hobby. Staying busy will help you avoid depression and boredom this season.

  2. Step 2

Buy yourself something. Save for something you have had your eye on. This will motivate you and keep you focused and not so glum.

  3. Step 3

Take a trip. Go someplace warm or someplace quaint where you can get away from your everyday life for a while.

  4. Step 4

Be a volunteer. Volunteering your time may help avoid depression as it takes your mind away from depression. Try out Toys for Tots, Salvation Army, local soup kitchens or homeless shelters.

  5. Step 5

Realize. Just think your problem is small compared to those of others. Look at the big picture, millions are starving, at war, and homeless, all your fighting is a state of mind.

  6. Step 6

Enjoy life. Your time here is limited so try and make the best of it and don't waste it being glum all the time, do something to be able to enjoy it.

  7. Step 7

Medicate. If you just can't be happy consult a doctor.

Tips & Warnings
  • Good Luck!
