This article will help you get rid of and prevent pimples. Those in need of clearing up their face from those pesty blemishes have probably tried everything in the book to get rid of pimples. I will provide the background of what causes a pimple to form and how to get rid of them with store products and a few home remedies. The important thing to know about getting rid of pimples it that its possible and steps can be taken to prevent future breakouts as well.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Before we look to get rid of pimples I want to explain how one forms. A pimple actually starts approximately ten days before you see it when a a foreign substance (dirt, oil, skin, etc..) goes down into a pore and causes an irritation. Once this happens the pore becomes infected and expands to push the substance out of the pore. This pushing and friction irritation causes the pimple you see. Once the substance is forced out of your pore the infection goes away and your skin returns to normal.

  2. Step 2

The easiest way to get rid of and prevent future pimples is to keep your face clean at all times. Keeping oil, dirt and dust off of your face reduces the chance of a pore becoming infected. This is especially true for those experiencing puberty. When in puberty your skin reproduces at a fast rate. Pieces of skin peel or flak off and can infect pores. This is why most teenagers have more pimples than adults and children who have not hit puberty yet.

  3. Step 3

A few home remedies to prevent pimples are hydrogen peroxide and aspirin broken up and mixed together. Apply the paste like substance on your pimple. Colgate white toothpaste is also a highly recommended cure for a pimples that is irritated. The most important factor to prevent inflammation is to leave it be. The more you pinch it the worse it gets!
