Things You'll Need:
- White vinegar
- Nylon scrub
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrush
- Ammonia
- Bucket
- Petroleum jelly

Step 1
Soak cloudy drinking glasses for one hour in warm white vinegar. Do not boil the vinegar. Use a nylon kitchen scrub to remove the film. Wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry the glass.

Step 2
Apply cheap white toothpaste to the glass. Scrub the glass with a toothbrush or soft bristle brush. Wash the glass to remove toothpaste, rinse and dry the glass.

Step 3
Add a small amount of ammonia and dish detergent to a bucket of hot water. Allow the glass to soak for 30 minutes. Wash the glass thoroughly, rinse and dry.

Step 4
Apply a layer of petroleum jelly to the glass. Allow the glass to sit with the petroleum jelly coating for one day. Wash the glass thoroughly, rinse and dry.
