Projector headlights for Honda vehicles are typically aftermarket options. Several manufacturers make projector headlights for Hondas. The projector headlight focuses a beam of light onto the road, as opposed to using a reflective backing on the headlight to spread the beam across the road. Once you've removed the old headlight assembly, be sure you are installing the new projector headlights properly.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Projector headlight assembly
  • Socket
  • 12mm socket
  1. Step 1

Align the mounting holes on the projector headlight assembly with the mounting brakes on the frame of your Honda.

  2. Step 2

Thread the mounting bolts for the projector assembly and tighten them.

  3. Step 3

Insert the projector headlight bulb into the back of the assembly. Turn the bulb clockwise to engage the locking tabs on the base of the bulb and lock the bulb into the housing. Make sure that you do not touch the glass bulb with your fingers. If you do, the bulb will explode inside the housing once it heats up to normal operating temperature.

  4. Step 4

Plug the electrical connector into the back of the bulb's ballast.
