  • 1 bag freshly ground coffee

      Place the coat in a garment bag. Hang the garment bag on a closet rod.

      Put an open coffee bag in bottom of garment bag. Zip the garment bag completely.

      Remove the coat from the bag when the coat smells like coffee. Hang the coat outside until it smells clean.

      Repeat this process several times until the offensive odor is removed. For further upkeep, have your coat professionally cleaned once a year.
