How to Make Your Own Bachelorette Party Cards
Bachelorette parties have become a traditional part of the wedding experience. The parties let brides have one last fling while they are still single. They usually take place at a bar, club or a friend's house. The bride's closest friends and bridal party typically host the party. If you're a host, making your own bachelorette party cards will reduce the cost of the party and add a personal touch.

1
Decide on a theme for your bachelorette party. "Weekend Spa," Bachelorette Survivor" and "Slumber Party" are common. It is essential to know the theme before you begin making your own bachelorette party cards.
-
2
Use Microsoft Word to create your party cards. Open a new document from the file menu and choose the appropriate size. The general rule of thumb is to make the card no larger than a greeting card. Design the document to 4¼ inches by 5½ inches for an appropriately sized party card.

3
Add images and text to the party cards. Under the "Insert" tab, choose to add a text box, clip art or photo to your card. Customize these objects to suit the theme of your bachelorette party.
-
4
Include important invitation information on the cards. Place the time, date and location of the bachelorette party immediately following the name of the bride-to-be. Inform guests of the party theme and add any special information to the card. This is where you let your guests know how to dress, what to bring and the itinerary for the night.
-
5
Add any last touches to the card. Place borders around text boxes, add a background color, or put in interesting designs by using the shape tool. The tool is located under the "Insert" tab on the toolbar.
-
6
Choose the paper quality. Several types of paper are available at craft stores. The cards will look professional if they're printed on glossy or card-stock paper, but if money is an issue, print the cards on plain white paper.
-
7
Print the bachelorette cards. Under the file menu, select "Print." Choose the right paper size and paper quality under the printer options. Print the cards on test paper first to ensure they contain no errors.
-
8
Create embellishments for the cards. Use ribbons, stickers or glitter to add personality. Once you finish the cards, begin mailing them out at least three weeks in advance to give your guests enough time to make plans.
