How to Get to the Burning Steppes From the Badlands

BAD TITLE -- REMOVE In the online role-playing game World of Warcraft, the world is divided into several continents and each continent is divided into regions. The Burning Steppes is a volcanic region located in the Eastern Kingdoms, north of the Redridge Mountains and south of the Searing Gorge. The Badlands is a region in Khaz Modan in the Eastern Kingdoms, accessible from the Searing Gorge and Loch Modan. Traveling from the Badlands to the Burning Steppes can be accomplished on foot, although it is easier and faster with a mount.

Travel south from the Loch Modan entrance to the Badlands until you reach Hammertoe's Digsite.

Head west from Hammertoe's Digsite until you reach the area where Kargath is located. You will pass Angor Fortress and The Dustbowl.

Go south from Kargath until you locate the path to the Searing Gorge. It can be difficult to see. If you are using a map add-on, it is located at the coordinates of 5 and 60 on the map.

Travel through the pass and into the Searing Gorge.

Go west through the Searing Gorge until you reach Blackrock Mountain. Enter through the double doors.

Travel down the long entrance hallway into the depths of Blackrock Mountain. Stay to the right when you reach The Molten Span and go through the door on the right side of the path.

Walk straight through the hallway and you will emerge in the Burning Steppes.

Tips & Warnings

  • Stick to the paths as much as possible if you want to avoid enemies.
  • Enemy mobs range from level 35 in the Badlands to level 58 in the Burning Steppes. This route is not recommended if you are below level 50.
