Instructions

    • 1

Place a coffee filter inside the coffee drawer. Make sure the filter is big enough. Industrial coffeemakers require a larger size than the domestic variety. Add about one tablespoon of coffee per cup and snap the drawer closed.

    • 2

Open the water reservoir and pour in about an ounce more water than you need, without over flowing the reservoir. The extra water will evaporate during brewing, ensuring that you will get a full pot that is not too strong.

    • 3

Place the air-pot carafe under the coffee drawer's spout and turn on the coffeemaker. These carafes are made with a layer of industrial plastic on the inside and stainless steel on the outside with an air pocket in between to keep coffee hot. They come in sizes from a liter or two to several gallons.

    • 4

Remove the air pot after brewing to serve guests or customers. Clean and maintain your air-pot coffeemaker just as you would a coffeemaker at home.
