      Blot the ink stain, whether it be on clothing, furniture or carpet, with a dry towel to remove as much of the ink as possible.

      Apply a small amount of hairspray over the surface of the stain and let it sit for a minute.

      Place a cloth towel or paper towel over the stained area and gently apply pressure. Most of the ink will absorb into the towel at this point.

      Rinse the area with hot water to remove the remaining ink and hairspray and let dry.
