Find a GPS application compatible with your cell phone. You may need to check with your service provider to find the appropriate software. One program that works with iPhones, Android and Windows Mobile phones is called MobiWee. These applications use satellite GPS to locate your phone and display its whereabouts on your computer.

Download the program to your phone. Depending on the type of phone and the application you use, this may be done through a wireless download or by connecting to your computer.
