French Manicured Tips
French Manicured Tips

Do you like those beautiful french manicured nails, but hate going to the nail salon? Those french manicures can also be expensive, but they are beautiful and classy and we all want them. However, they can be almost impossible to do yourself. Well, I discovered a unique and revolutionary new product, while mall walking, which will enable you to give yourself a salon quality, professional manicure in minutes that will last up to 14 days. You get base coat, color coat and top coat in a single dry self-stick that is actual nail polish. The french manicure is amazing, but they also comes in many soft and rich colors, including glitter, crèmes, frost and sheer. You can easily apply these self-stick polish strips by following these few easy steps:

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dry Nail Applique French Nail Kit, something like the one by Incoco.
  1. Step 1
    Apply French Tips
    Apply French Tips

Remove the clear plastic cover that covers the nail strip and peel off the white tip.

  2. Step 2

Apply nail polish tip to the tips of your clean dry nail. When you are satisfied that the nail polish tip is correctly positioned, rub with your finger to smooth it to the nail.

  3. Step 3

Use your nail or a nail file to remove the excess polish strip. Run a nail or nail file across the top of the nail with the nail polish strip, it will strip off the excess dry polish that extends beyond your natural nail leaving you with a beautiful and perfect french tip.

  4. Step 4

Apply the sheer color (dry polish strip) over top the entire nail. This sheer color will start at the base of the nail and extend up and over the french tip. Once in place, rub all area of nail strip and firmly crease excess around nail edge, using the enclosed wooden cuticle stick to do the creasing. File off excess dry nail strip in a downward motion.

  5. Step 5

Enjoy your beautiful manicure. When you are ready to change the color, just use regular nail polish remover to remove.

Tips & Warnings
  • For best results you should clean and buff your nails. Make sure your nail polish strip is placed on correctly before smoothing out. At this point is can be re-positioned.
  • These dry nail strips can be found in Kioshs in the mall, Walgreens and online at Incoco. I also believe that Avon has the product.
  • This is not nail tips, it is 100% nail polish. It will not add length to your nails, but the french tips can add the appearance of length.
