I don't know what it is about the combination of cinnamon and raisins, but the two taste great together. Cinnamon raisin cream cheese has become one of my favorite toppings for a cinnamon raisin bagel. If you love cinnamon raisin cream cheese as much as I do, you'll enjoy this recipe. It's super easy . . . and tasty!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 oz. package of cream cheese
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  1. Step 1

Open one 8 ounce brick of cream cheese (or Neufchatel cheese). Place cream cheese in the bowl of a food processor.

  2. Step 2

Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
and 1/4 cup powdered sugar to bowl.

  3. Step 3

Secure top to food processor, and blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. You may wish to scape the sides of the bowl for more even mixing.

  4. Step 4

Carefully spoon cream cheese mixture into a small bowl (preferably a bowl with a lid).

  5. Step 5

Stir raisins into cinnamon cream cheese mixture until well blended.

  6. Step 6

Enjoy your newly created cinnamon raisin cream cheese on bagels, bread, muffins or toast. Keep refrigerated.
