The holidays are a time music and song. How best to celebrate the season then with Caroling. Like in those old Christmas movies, where a group of wanders sing of gladness and joy. You to can wander with a song on your lips and in your heart.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start by talking to friends, family members, co-workers, team mates, or the people from your church. You may have to talk to a lot of people to spark enough interest. So brace yourself for the main objection. People are afraid of public singing.

  2. Step 2

Once you have assembled at least 4 to 5 people. Have a meeting to discuss the basics. What you will need to set in this meeting is: Set a date, time, place your meeting from, and your wandering route, this can include any stops you may which to include along the way to warm up. Tentatively you may also wish to discuss which carols your group should sing. And be certain to write everything down.

  3. Step 3

If you have prearranged stop and visits, contact the people at the location to verify your attendance. This will make the experience better for everyone.

  4. Step 4

Gather the sheet music for the song selections. Be sure to have enough copies of music for everyone. It may also be a great idea to make a few extra copies. Because with caroling it is easy to pick up a few extra people along the way.

  5. Step 5

A week before the caroling call or contact all of your carolers. This serves to remind them of the day and time and place your meeting.

  6. Step 6

The day before the caroling event assemble flashlights and or taper candles. These will serve as light, plus give your carolers a mystical whimsy. Also do a double check of the sheet music. And make the final calls to the carolers. And remind them if there are responsible for bringing anything.

  7. Step 7

Enjoy and sing with all your heart.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want to have the perfect group of carolers, you may also wish to assemble a few choir practices before time.
  • Unfortunately, you may come across some scrooges. Don’t let them break your holiday cheer just continue on to the next stop.
