Things You'll Need:
- 8 oz. package of cream cheese
- 1/8 to 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almonds, walnuts, pecans or hazelnuts

Step 1
Empty contents of one 8 oz. package of cream cheese (or neufchatel) into the bowl of a food processor.

Add desired amount of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to bowl of food processor.

Blend mixture in food processor until smooth and creamy. You may want to scrape down the sides of the bowl once or twice (while the machine is off) during mixing.

Taste, and adjust the amount of sugar to your liking. Process again if you added sugar.

Step 5
Transfer sweetened cream cheese to an airtight container.

Stir in 1/4 cup of walnuts, almonds, pecans or hazelnuts.

Spread Vanilla Nut Cream Cheese on bagels and breads. Keep refrigerated.
