Ever had that time when you received a voice mail and erased it after about 5 sec. nonsense? Well the next time you leave a message, leave a constructive one. A message that makes sense and is to the point. Remember you are not talking to the person, you are LEAVING A MESSAGE. Therefore, make it short and to the point.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A phone
  • Phone number
  1. Step 1

    * Be Sure to speak up and pronounce your works. If you have a tendency to talk fast, then slow down. Do this especially if and when you are leaving your contact information.

  2. Step 2

    * Make sure you introduce yourself. "Hello my name is Jake Smith" Don't say things like "Hey it's me....call me later" Call who?

  3. Step 3

    * Be precise as to why you are calling. Don't say things such as "So watcha up too? I'm just driving, my day was..." Remember you are not in a conversation. Instead say something like " Hello () I wanted to talk to you, please call me back at ()”

  4. Step 4

    * Last, leave your contact information. It never hurts to leave it. Why? Because if the person you called lost, doesn't have, or can't get your phone number, he/she can just check their voice mail.
