Step 1
Fill a bucket with two gallons of warm water and four cups of ammonia. Swish a sponge through the bucket to mix the water and ammonia. Set the bucket on a couple of folded paper towels to make sure that it doesn't drip on the wood floor and cause any damage.
-
Step 2
Take the sponge and start scrubbing a 2-foot by 2-foot section of wood floor.
-
Step 3
Dry the area with paper towel to remove the Orange Glo residue. Scrub again with the sponge dipped in the ammonia mixture. Repeat this process until the paper towel comes away clean, with no Orange Glo residue on it.
-
Step 4
Dispose of all of the used paper towels, rinse the sponge, and move on to scrubbing the next floor section. Repeat the process until all of the Orange Glo has been removed.
-
Step 5
Clean your wood floors with a gentle, everyday wood floor cleaner to ensure that any leftover ammonia doesn't dry out your wood floors.
