1
Download Simple Gesture Maker (see Resources section). Voodoo Chat allows users to play music by using the chat application's gesture feature. The gesture is a combination of an animated GIF and a WAV sound file that is created with the Simple Gesture Maker.
-
2
Using the Simple Gesture Maker utility, create a new gesture to include the music or sound effects of your choice. The music or sound effects file must be imported into Simple Gesture Maker in WAV file format. The resulting gesture should be saved as a VOG formatted file, which is an option provided by Simple Gesture Maker.

Start the Voodoo Chat application, enter the chat room of your choosing, open the gesture tool box, import gestures (in VOG file format) as necessary and play the gesture of your choice. The Voodoo Chat application allows the gesture to play for an unlimited period of time, in effect, creating an embedded music file.

4
Provide the VOG file to friends who you would like to be able to hear the embedded music or sound file. If they chose to install the VOG file in their gestures toolbox, then they will be able to hear the music or sound effect whenever you chose to play that particular gesture. You are now ready to entertain your friends with your music collection while you enjoy the 2-D Voodoo Chat application.

Tips & Warnings
The Voodoo Chat website features a forum for resolving any technical difficulties.
Be cautious when using the gesture feature. Constantly playing a long WAV file might annoy other users and cause them to remove the file from their gesture box. Even users who have not installed the gesture will see the gesture's text played in the chat room. So use good judgment.
