Instructions

    • 1

Apply masking tape to any areas with paint that you don't want to remove.

    • 2

Wash painted area with soap and warm water. Scrub with a brush to remove caked on dirt (this may also dislodge some loose portions of paint). Your efforts to remove the paint will be made easier if you don't also have to deal with dirt.

    • 3

Spray affected area with spray paint stripper. Follow the instructions on the stripper bottle regarding how long to wait before you scrape the paint.

    • 4

Scrape paint away with a razor blade. Hold the blunt edge of the straight razor between your thumb and forefinger, and use the sharp edge to scrape in small, short
strokes to remove tiny portions of paint at a time. Scrape away from your body at all times.

    • 5

Wipe and wash away all scraped off paint. Periodically, use water to get rid of all the paint you've already loosened in order to be able to see what paint remains to be scraped.

    • 6

      Repeat steps 2-4 as needed.

    • 7

Remove the masking tape from the protected areas.
