Apply olive oil to cleanse and loosen the skin. Olive oil contains monounsaturated fats and will not clog the pores. When applied to the skin for a certain length of time, olive oil will soften the skin enough to allow scars and acne marks to loosen. Once loosened, the discolored skin cells can be removed easily. Spread 1 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil onto the area of skin with the acne marks. Let the oil set on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, use a wet cloth to remove the oil and discolored skin cells. Repeat once per day.

Apply natural exfoliants to buff away dead skin cells. A mixture of granulated sugar, honey, and baking soda will buff off dead skin without scratching the skin's surface. Mix 1 tbsp. of each of these ingredients together and spread a generous amount onto the skin. Rub the mixture around with the fingers for two minutes, then rinse it off with warm water. The loosened discolored skin marks will be sloughed away. Use this natural scrub twice per week.

Apply concentrated lemon juice to revitalize and renew the skin. Each time the skin is softened and scrubbed, an acidic toner high in vitamin C should be applied to encourage new skin cell growth. Concentrated lemon or orange juice are very high in vitamin C, and can be applied full strength on the skin. There are a few ways in which to apply the toner. The first method is to pour the juice into a bowl and splash the skin after it is scrubbed. The second method is to spray the skin with the juice using a clean spray bottle. Thirdly, the lemon or orange juice can be applied using a washcloth soaked in the juice. The juice can stay on the skin for five minutes and be rinsed off with water, or it can dry onto the skin. Acidic juice can be used on the skin up to three times a day to remove acne marks.
