The Deni Freshlock Food Vacuum Sealer is a user-friendly sealer that first removes the air from its plastic storage bags and then seals the end with an internal sealing wire. The machine can be used to freeze and preserve foods, pack lunches and keep leftovers fresh. According to the Deni user manual, the machine should always be unplugged unless in use.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Vacuum seal food by placing it into one of the vacuum seal bags and placing the open end over the sealing wire of the machine. Insert the vacuum nozzle in the bag and close the lid. Press down on the left side of the machine to turn on the vacuum. The machine is finished when the green seal light turns off.

  2. Step 2

Clean the vacuum sealer by unplugging it from the power outlet and wiping the interior with a soft, damp cloth. Abrasive cleaners should not be used on the machine.

  3. Step 3

Remove any food particles that are on the sealing wire by carrying out the sealing operation without a bag inside to soften the food particles and then wiping the wire clean with a soft, damp towel.
