At the bottom of the page are steps on how to register for the "Social Security Number Verification Service." You will need to complete the registration form and request an activation code.
The Social Security Administration will mail you the activation code. Use it to log in to the social security verification system and to perform social security number checks. You should receive the results instantaneously.
