Instructions

    • 1

Assess the damage to your concrete road. Be sure that no additional cracking or erosion has occurred in the surrounding areas. Brush out any additional chunks of loose concrete in the damaged area with a broom.

    • 2

Mix a bag of instant road repair mix (see Resources) and pour it into the damaged location. Spread the mix into the entire area, leaving a crown in the middle to allow for compaction.

    • 3

Roll over the entire spot with your concrete roller or by driving over the area with your truck or SUV. The mixture will not stick to your tires or the roller. Make sure the entire area is completely flat and even with the surrounding concrete.

    • 4

Wet the surface of the repaired area with your hose and apply a light coat of the Portland cement over the area to help match the color to the surrounding concrete.

    • 5

Allow the area to dry for at least one hour before driving or walking on it. The drying process may take longer in very hot (higher than 90 degrees) or very cold (less than 32 degrees) environments.
