Selling your student tickets all at once can be overwhelming, but rewarding. Decide a price, but be willing to negotiate. Then advertise, any way you can think of that doesn't cost money. Finally, negotiate a price and make the deal.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Printer
  • Internet Access
  • Phone
  • Paper
  1. Step 1

Find your price. Look around campus for other people's fliers or online for other people's prices. Advertise your ticket for a few dollars less than the going price.

  2. Step 2

Create fliers. Write fliers that clearly and concisely describe the item you are selling and your price. For example, if you are selling student season football tickets for $400 or the best offer, you may write:

    Student Season Tickets.
    $400 or best offer.
    Your phone number.

Use large font and print out the fliers.

  3. Step 3

Post the fliers. Print plenty of them and post them everywhere you can think of on campus or where students will go.

  4. Step 4

Advertise online. Use all of your online accounts to help you. Advertise on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. For instance, look for Facebook groups for your school or football lovers. A lot of buyers may look for tickets in these areas.

  5. Step 5

Negotiate. When the time comes to sell the ticket, be willing to take the price down for buyers. Negotiate a time and place to make the exchange.

  6. Step 6

Make the trade. Be courteous to your buyer, as they may give you business again sometime.

Tips & Warnings
  • Let buyers know that you are willing to negotiate, but don't let them take advantage of you.
  • Never give someone your ticket without receiving full payment first. Don't let yourself be tricked.
