How to Make a Recipe Book on Microsoft Works

Microsoft Works has templates where you can create a recipe book and print them out and place them in your binder or folder. Here are instructions on how to use this program.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Click and open up the Microsoft Works Task Launcher. You can do this by clicking on the start button or logo on the left of your screen. Go to Programs and scroll down to Microsoft works, look for Microsoft Works Task Launcher.

  2. Step 2

    When you open up Microsoft Works Task Launcher, go to the top of the page, click on templates. On the left of the screen, go to Home and Money. There are many templates for different purposes. Look for one that says, 'recipe book.' Click on it. There are a few styles to preview and choose from. You can choose from 4x6 card or full pages. Go to the style that you prefer. Then click on the arrow at the top of the page, that says 'use this style'. The page will open up.

  3. Step 3

    You can now get your hand written family recipes or recipes from friends and the internet and type it out in this format. When you click on a specific part of the document, it will be highlighted. Just type and fill out each sections. To go from section to section, use your arrows on your keyboard. You can then save it and print out.

    When you are finished type one recipe, you can type as much recipe as you can, using these instructions.
