People spend more and more time each year on the internet. In early 2009 the time spent on Facebook increased 700% and the time spent on Twitter increased over 3700% With people becoming more involved what's happening to our pets? You use a social network to make friends and find events, so why not your pet? Learn how to use a pet social network to help your pet make friends and get involved in clubs and events.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Pet of any kind
  1. Step 1

    Take pictures of your pet and video if you want. Make sure at least one of the photos is of your pet in a natural pose.

  2. Step 2

    Find a pet social network to join and sign up. I use the one listed at the bottom of this article. Social networks use ads as a source of revenue. For this reason you should never have to pay to join a social network.

  3. Step 3

    Create your pet's profile. Include pictures, create a blog, invite friends to join and make friends with members already on the social network site.

  4. Step 4

    Lastly, get involved! Join a club that provides social interactions or activities, find an event to attend with your pet, or support local charities and rescue foundations.
