Times are tough these days, and a lot of people have put on a little weight. There never seems to be enough time (or energy) left at the end of the day for exercise, it's sweaty and uncomfortable, and for many people, food is their main solace. If you're fed up with lugging around the extra pounds but you're too tired to bother with vigorous exercise and dieting, never fear! You don't have to do either ever again! Seriously; think about how skinny people live. They usually don't think about what they eat or keep track of how many calories they burn. As a human, you have a natural "ideal weight" that is neither overweight or underweight. This is the equilibrium your body is capable of maintaining within reason as long as you eat reasonably healthy and don't sit around on the couch all day. Okay, are you ready for some more good news? Here are some things that take little effort that, if done regularly, are guaranteed to result in you losing weight. Here they are:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • sugarless chewing gum
  • water or low-calorie drinks
  • planner or calendar
  • music
  1. Step 1
    Chew gum.

    Chew gum.

Chewing sugarless gum is a great way to whiten your teeth and cut calories. Instead of reaching for a sweet snack between meals, you can keep a pack of chewing gum in your pocket and chew on that when you're craving something sweet. This is a great way to cut calories if you're a nervous person and overeat as a result of anxiety. You may or may not be aware that the act of chewing releases endorphins and is a way to release anxiety. You should find long-term ways to reduce anxiety, though, like deep breathing, yoga, or (gasp) maybe exercise! As you'll see in the next step, incorporating stress-free exercise is all you really need to melt away pounds and maintain a healthy weight.

  2. Step 2
Park farther back in the parking lot.

Park farther back in the parking lot.

When you drive someplace, get in the habit of parking right in front of your destination. Force yourself to walk across the parking lot every time you go to the store, work, etc. and I guarantee that will make a difference in your weight and your energy level. Walking, even in small bouts, is effective in boosting mood and energy, promoting circulation and cardiovascular health, and burning calories. Sneaking at least ten minutes of pure walking in your day will help you a lot over time.

  3. Step 3
    Drink low-calorie drinks.

    Drink low-calorie drinks.

Low calorie beverages are a great-tasting substitute to sodas and heavy coffee drinks. Try replacing regular soda with diet sodas. Drinking more water overall promotes a healthy complexion, good circulation, alertness, and it keeps you feeling full so you'll need less food to stay satisfied. I recommend the Propel waters because they taste better than ordinary water. Therefore, I drink more water as a result and feel better than ever. It used to be hard to get myself to drink water throughout the day because it tasted "boring."

  4. Step 4
    Have sex!

    Have sex!

Having sex is a workout all on its own. The more fun you have, the more calories you seem to burn. That sure sounds more appealing than grinding away in the gym. Even the process of getting sexually aroused raises your metabolism and gets your body moving. You can increase your enjoyment and fat-burning ability by engaging your pelvic floor muscles when you have sex. Practice clenching and releasing your pelvic floor muscles (also known as "keegals").

  5. Step 5
    Move to the music!

    Move to the music!

Listening to a music that has a beat is a great way to pep yourself up as you exercise or do your errands. Cleaning the house counts as exercise, and listening to music while you do it makes it more enjoyable and might make you want to do your chores with more gusto.
