Blogging today is not only a great passtime but it is also a great way to generate passive income. Google adsense is readily available to bloggers that are looking to earn residual income from Google ads.

• Blog site
• Google adsense account

1. The first thing you want to do is have a blog, there are many different ones to pick from. I went with blogger.com because they have a simple user friendly interface and offer a lot of great gadgets that you can add to your page to give it extra pizzaz.

2. Get a google adsense account. You simply can put Google adsense into your browser and go from there. Once you have an adsense account you will need to make sure you have your publisher id. Go to your blogger site and right click on the page to get your blogs URL, which will be found in properties on the pop up window. Copy and paste this url and add as a channel on your google adsense set up tab.

3. Start writing and blogging, and set your blog up to have google adsense inserted throughout your posts. I have mine set up so that relevant ads are placed in between each post I write. Gain followers and make sure to follow the same principles you use on ehow, read and comment on your followers works and subscribe to them. In no time you will be earning money via google adsense.
