Shingles, also known as Herpes Zoster, is a viral disease that comes with painful skin rashes, along with blisters. This natural treatment helps to relieve the pain and discomfort of the shingles, and can be used as often as needed to treat the affected skin.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/4 Cup of Geranium Leaves
  • Water
  1. Step 1

In a blender or food processor to grind the geranium leaves into small granules. If you don't have a food processor or blender, I suggest chopping them into fine pieces with any type of food chopper or if necessary, a sharp knife.

  2. Step 2

Bring a small cup of water to a boil, and remove from the heat once the bubbles begin to spread across the top of the water. Measure out two teaspoons of the water, and pour into a small cup.

  3. Step 3

Add the chopped gernaium leaves to the water, and stir together gently. Cover the cup with something, to help the heat stay in the cup. Allow the mixture to steep.

  4. Step 4

Once the mixture has reached room temperature, apply a thin layer of the mixture over the areas affected with Shingles. Allow it to stay on for about 20 minutes, then gently wipe the mixture off of the areas affected with shingles, with a soft cloth dipped in warm water.
