This is a great recipe for people that like both fish and stews. The dish is easy to make and great for a nice dinner and it serves about four people and if you want to make a serving for eight just double the ingredients.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 tablespoons of olive
  • oil
  • 1 chopped yellow onion
  • 1 chopped or diced tomato
  • 1 cup of parsley
  • 2 grated garlic cloves
  • 2 pounds of halibut filet
  • 1 cup of white wine
  • 3 tablespoons of seafood stock
  1. Step 1

In a large sauce pan put the olive oil over medium low heat and add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté for about seven minutes.

  2. Step 2

Then at this point add the parsley and tomato and stir for about three to five minutes on medium heat.

  3. Step 3

Then add the seafood stock, the glass of white wine and the halibut (which will be cut into pieces) and stir until the fish is fully cooked and it can be between ten to fifteen minutes and at this point turn off the heat and serve to you or your guests and if you want you can put some pepper on top of it.
