How to Clean Burner Grates on a Porcelain Stove
Like many stainless steel ranges, porcelain stoves have burner grates to heat pots and pans. However, when you are cooking, especially when boiling, contents of the pots and pans can spill over the side and onto the burner grates. Because the grate is hot, you cannot clean it right away and the food sticks to the grate. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Remove the burner grates from the porcelain stove. Depending on the kind of grates, you may either need to pull up on the grates or pull sideways away from the connection with the stove.
-
2
Combine one part baking soda with one part water to make a watery paste.
-
-
3
Dip a rag into the paste and scrub around the burner grate.
-
4
Submerge the burner grate into the baking soda mixture if necessary. Allow the grate to sit for a few minutes. This gives the baking soda time to eat away at the material. Remove the grate from the baking soda and scrub as necessary.
-
5
Rinse the grates with water and dry them.

I was trying to post this solution. Baking soda works very well.
