How to Replace an Acura Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filters in your Honda Acura are in the inlet side of the blower motor, which is inside the car, above the glove compartment. Their purpose is to remove all contaminants from the incoming air stream so they do not enter the cabin. The filters are a small enough micron to prevent even pollen from passing and getting into the cabin. This is particularly helpful for those who have allergies.

Instructions

Open the glove compartment. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the tabs on the inside top front of the glove box. Lift out and remove the glove box.

    • 2

Remove the screws in the white plastic case above the glove box. When looking at the white box, you'll see a cover facing the rear of the vehicle. Remove the screws to take the cover off.
