Finding the owner an unpublished phone number may seem an impossible task, but there are a number of companies that offer this service for a fee. You supply them with the number and they can get both the name and address for you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to NonPublished.com. Many businesses exist to serve this need, known as reverse lookup, and NonPublished is said to be one of the more reliable ones.

  2. Step 2

Click "Setup Account," located near the top of the web page.

  3. Step 3

Read the Service Agreement, then click "Continue." When you are verified to use the system, return to the homepage. Near the top of the page, click "Reverse Lookup," a process by which NonPublished sends an electronic response to phone providers to receive information.

  4. Step 4

Read NonPublished's services for reverse lookup. The company can track both land-line numbers, as well as cell phone numbers. Choose which service is appropriate for you by clicking on it.

  5. Step 5

Enter the phone number. After one or two business days, NonPublished should contact you with the name, address and other contact information.
