How to Assemble a Hollywood Bed Frame

Hollywood beds are economical beds with metal frames that hook together and have legs with wheels. The frames have two holes at either end of one side for attaching the headboard. With the correct tools, Hollywood bed frames can be easily assembled on your own.

Things You'll Need:

• Bed frame
• Headboard
• Wrench
• Pliers
• Bolts
• Nuts

1. Separate the side rails and lay them out parallel to each other on the floor. Set the parts so that each rail has one edge against the floor and one facing out.

2. Attach the cross rails to the side rails. Slide and lock the bolt on one rail into the keyhole on the adjacent rail. Tighten bolts and nuts with a wrench and pliers if you have rails that must be bolted together.

3. Hook the cross wires into their diagonal corresponding holes in the side rails if your Hollywood bed uses cross wires.

4. Snap the wheels into the bottoms of the bed legs.

5. Set up the headboard so that the two holes are aligned with the two headboard holes on the frame. Insert bolts through the holes and tighten nuts on the opposite side.
