Instructions

    • 1

Pull the wire along the length of the fence so that the wires square up to you.

    • 2

Overlap the fence and trim the excess fence off. You should leave yourself enough overlap to finalize your measurements and splice the fence. Tie the overlaps together to maintain an easier work area. (If you have assistance, they can help hold the overlap together.)

    • 3

Cut the wire 1 to 1.5 inches from the stay wire knots on the left side of the fence. Do this for every horizontal wire along that stay wire.

    • 4

Trim the top horizontal wire on the right overlapping fence to overlap the 1 to 1.5 inch cut you made next to the left stay knot.

    • 5

Place a crimping wire over the right overlapping fence wire and then pull it over the left wire near the stay knot.

    • 6

Crimp the wire with the crimping tool.

    • 7

Trim the excess wire from around the crimp to prevent sharp edges.

    • 8

Repeat Steps 3 through 7 for each wire down the stay knot on the fence. Remove the ties and discard excess fence cuttings.
