How to Draw the Omnitrix From Ben 10
Omnitrix is short for omni-matrix. In the popular cartoon show "Ben 10," main character 10-year-old Ben Tennyson finds an unusual object that resembles a large, bulky wristwatch. When Ben puts on the omnitrix, it permanently attaches itself to his wrist and gives him the power to turn into various alien life-forms, all of whom fight the forces of evil. If you are a "Ben 10" fan, it will be fun to learn how to draw the omnitrix.

Using a compass, draw a circle about the width of your wrist for the inner face of the omnitrix. Inside the circle, draw either a diamond or an hourglass shape with sharp inner points. It changes depending on what Ben is doing with it, so it is up to you which design you prefer.

Draw another circle around the first, about one-eighth to one-fourth inch larger. The smaller circle should be centered in the larger circle.

Draw four small circles, one-eighth to one-fourth inch in diameter, just inside the inner edges of the second circle where the 12, 3, 6 and 9 would be on a real watch.

Draw a horizontal rectangle around the circles to represent the band that attaches the omnitrix to Ben's wrist. The top and bottom lines of the rectangle should almost, but not quite, touch the top and bottom of the larger circle. The width of the rectangle should extent about one-quarter inch past each side of the larger circle. It should resemble a thick watch band.

Draw a small, elongated oval, approximately one-eighth inch wide by one-fourth inch long, in each of the four corners of the rectangle. The ovals should be on a 45-degree angle, their rounded ends overlapping the corners of the rectangle. One rounded end of each oval should face inward towards the center circles. These represent the metallic clasps that wrap around from the bottom of the omnitrix. Making them ovals rather than straight lines will give them a rounded appearance.

Trace over the lines of your omnitrix with a fine-point marker or black colored pencil.

Color your omnitrix. Color the diamond or hourglass shape on the face a bright yellow-green or neon green. If you made a diamond, you might attempt to draw a tiny black silhouette of your favorite alien inside of it.

Color the rest of the face of the omnitrix medium to light gray. Color the circle around the face black or dark charcoal gray. Color the tiny circles, which are supposed to be lights, around it the same yellow-green or neon green you colored on the face.

Color the band dark charcoal gray. Color the small ovals very light gray or silver.
